Memorial Service for Grandfather
My grandfather passed away on the 6th of this month. This Saturday, the 24th, we will have his memorial service in Florida. We leave Thursday the 22nd. Please pray for the following:
God would be glorified through all said and done over these days.
My dad and my 3 aunts – that God would continue to comfort them and give them an insurmountable peace.
My cousin, Mike, hasn’t seen our family in 10+ years, but he is making the trip for the service – pray for reconciliation there for him and his mom.
This may seem silly, but we have an almost 3 year old traveling with us. Pray that he would do well and that during the service he would be quiet and good! :)
My grandfather accepted Christ and made peace with the Lord just weeks before his death. Pray that although he will be greatly honored for his life (he played professional baseball), that the most important decision he made was making peace with the Lord. Pray that the hope of seeing him again will sustain my family.
