For 14-year-old Daughter

Hello --
Thank you for this ministry.

I went online to search for "something" that would calm my anxiety about my daughter.
I know that God IS the only way to oversee/overcome my worries.

I am reaching out to your prayer warriors to ask God to lead my 14 year old toward Him.
She knows Him, and claims to want to walk with Him, but I would like to see more evidence that she is.
She vacillates between making the above claims, to lashing out with anger and an attitude of disrespect toward me and others. I am worried and anxious, which I know is contradictory to my faith in God.

Will you please pray for us both?

Thank you sincerely --
Katie T

Comments:
Katie, I'm so glad that you found CWO. It's a priviledge to pray with you today. I know that as moms we need that reassurance from our children that a burning fire is growing inside them to serve the Lord.

Father, I pray that Katie's daughter will grow in faith, and that her desire to serve you will be so strong that it will power who she is, and who she hopes to be. I also pray for Katie that she will patiently guide her daughter through her actions and words, as an example of a faithfilled woman. Thank you for her faith and her hope for her family.

Katie, I so agree with you in prayer for your daughter. God Bless you for being a prayer warrior Mom. I pray your daughter comes to a strong relationship with the Lord. Right now her hormones are flying out of control as well as she enters womanhood. I pray she finds a faith that is her own as so many hang on to their parents faith but when they find that one-on-one relationship with God on their own it is so much stronger. Also, I pray for that Peace of God which surpasses all understanding for you. God Bless your Mother's heart!

katie: I too prayed in agreement with you for your daughter and yourself. It was not too long ago my 21 year old daughter was rebelling in the worst ways possible, closed, not speaking to me or her dad or her siblings, rude, angry, not going to school/ lying, refusing to eat, and worst. I prayed for her each day, sometimes being discouraged when i saw the same behaviour, but continuing to pray and trying to increase my faith, that God would rescue her. it happened so easily, she is back in school and actually doing her homework(as i type) she just asked me for the registration fee for 4 collages, she is open and with her family, shes eating again (although i have to bring it to her on a platter) but we sit and eat together. I know this is not the end, there is so much more God wants from her and to give her. All this is to say to you katie, that God listens and cares, he will help your daughter and you just know he loves you both, we wont let anything destroy you - if you only believe in his love and mercy.

I am praying with you for your daughter Katie, may God lead her heart.

Lord God I Pray for Katie & for her daughter.....Lord I pray that you would strengthen the bonds of this Mother Daughter team.....help them learn to appreciate each other again! Show this young lady how to walk in your path and give her peace in trusting you with her decisions. Father I pray for Kate that she would also have peace in trusting you with the life of her daughter.....
Thank you Father for answered prayers

Father, i pray for katie and her daughter. i ask you, Lord, that you will strengthen their relationship as mother and daughter. i pray that you will heal this realtionship. Lord, i lift up to you both that you will change them to be the mom and daughter after your own heart. thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers. in Jesus' name, amen.
