B's Blog!

I have always enjoyed being a "life toucher", and my blog is a God given opportunity to do it in a large way! This is exciting to me, to be providing, to be provoking, to be asking, to be caring, to be molding, to be interested, to be pleasing, to be learning, to be teaching. To be all I can be at whatever age I fine myself, through the "One" who loves me as no other! To spread my wings and try, come on, fly with me, I’m doing it and I’m loving it!

The LORD is near the brokenhearted; He saves those crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34.18)*

It was Sunday morning as I headed up the aisle toward my seat, my husband who always arrives first, was waiting. I settled in and prepared
for the rest of my family to appear. You know how it is, pleasantries, and visiting all around.

Our pew is usually the fifth or sixth row from the front, to the left of the pulpit and just behind ...

members-th_anifish2blue-jpg I have been rummaging around deep in my memory bank—about 65years or so— and I am re-living one of my childhood experiences. It occurred on the shores of the Green River or Panther Creek, south of my town. My thoughts, concerning the events of that day have lingered, the geography, not so much!. For the sake of keeping my mind on the memory, rather than its location, I am saying it was Panther Creek.

Regular Writers-100_0888-jpg Just a quickie blog. If you have the time click on my picture to see more clearly my full blooming Japonica bush. I took the picture this AM Jan. 12, 2012 and it is raining, snow is due today and deep freeze is expected tonight, the coldest of the winter; it may get into the 20's so I am sure my brave bloomer is in for a shock! The last two years it has had a few blossoms in Oct. and Nov. but this is an outstanding show stopper for my part of the world.

    Redeemed1 - Romans 3: 23 Blog-zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz-jpg

I am in the process of making a plan for the new year. You will notice I did not say I resolve to do this, just heading in that direction; I don't like to disappoint others or myself too often. I actually am being brave by baring my soul like this, so this in its self is a good thing!

My idea is to do a (gift, table top, whatever) book of my thoughts; past and present, things experienced, lessons learned, roads taken, and the good and ...
