A new member from Ontario, Canada

Hi! Just stopping by to introduce myself. I'm a 30-something wife, currently "between jobs" Social Worker.

I was raised as a child of missionaries in Europe, and then moved to Canada where my Dad was a pastor at several churches over the years.

At university I studied international development, psychology, languages, anthropology, sociology, and (of course) social work. University was a fabulous experience for me, mainly because of my passion for learning.

My drive to challenge myself and to soak up information hasn't stopped yet: I've studied at two Bible colleges in Canada, I've spent time at two branches of L'Abri (Francis & Edith Schaeffer's ministry), and I attend as many Christian conferences as I can, especially those presented by Ravi Zacharias International Ministries which I find challenging and even electrifying sometimes.

Not surprisingly, when I'm at home I learn through books, blogs, and forums.

In a nutshell, that's why I'm here. I look forward to meeting you and to getting involved here.
