The month will close on a warm note as I cruise the Caribbean with Candace Cameron Bure, Tammy Nolan, and Casting Crowns. You can't beat that—unless of course there's a golden street beneath your feet! We're joined this glorious month by two authors, Susan May Warren and Amy Wallace. Their interviews give us a peek into their newest books, giving us something to pick up and read while we enjoy the great weather that May brings our way. Between all of these wonderful occasions I celebrate one of the greatest blessings of all—that of motherhood. The Bible tells us that children are God's gift to us, a precious gift I'm not worthy to neither receive, nor will I ever be worthy, ready or equipped. It's only through Him that I nurture these children, and then watch in awe as they grow. Praise God for His kindness and grace, and for each growing flower He plants in our path. "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." ~ Psalm 127:3-5 Blessings, Read CWO daily at "The Internet Cafe": ____________________________ Living in Freedom
How it must pain God when He frees us from addiction, whether it be to food, alcohol, smoking, porn, binging, purging..., whatever our stronghold is, only to find us returning to it once again, hoping to find tranquility; excusing the struggle we have with our weakness so we can worship and cling to the golden calf once again. Start living in freedom today. Read more... ____________________________ Candid Candace
Candace also answers a reader who asks, "What do you think about sex before marriage?" Find out more about "The Wager" at: __________________________ Radio Interview:

Last Time They irritate me. I don't know why. I suppose I could trace it back to those curly, loop-de-loop straws I bought way back when the kids were younger. I wanted them to like the straws, but not so much that they'd use them. Because if they used them, say, for milk, then I'd have to be diligent about cleaning them. You can't procrastinate your dish washing when you've got milk-coated curly straws waiting in the sink. Read more...
