If I could write as beautifully as you do I would write the same things for my own adult child. I cling to Psalms 139: 7-10
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there;if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
It is comforting to me to know that there is no where that my child can go that God does not go with him.
A short prayer I read in a "Chicken Soup For The Soul" book I also love.
When you were small and just a touch away I covered you with a blanket against the cool night air. But now that you are grown and out of my reach, I fold my hands and cover you with prayer.
