For people like me, all the self control is on one side and self control with regards to sweets is on the other. 

An occasional treat should  not be a problem. Another thing that helps is, having  smaller portion of a more healthy sweet (like something with less fat and sugar). Once you start losing weight, that itself becomes a motivation to control your desire for sweets.</description>

My husband and I are runners and training is key to success! I like the idea of planning for an occasional week. That helps to stay focused on a goal (to get to the sweets!) Just kidding.
Really, though, if we know we are only allowed one treat at a certain [special] time in the week, we will appreciate it more, and [hopefully] have alternatives throughout the week to stem off those cravings...like a piece of fruit or something. :)</description>
